All You Could Want from a Rooflight.......And More!
The recently launched rooflight range from Alumen, leading SMART and Scheuco fabricator, has been enjoying huge interest in the trade market place.
“The range comprises three families – Aether, Helios and Olympus,” explains Alan Robinson, Alumen’s Managing Director. “The traditional expectation of a rooflight is in line with our Aether flat, fixed option with a simple, clean design, glazed edge to edge. But this doesn’t mean it is basic or too boring – the options on size and shape are endless and it is also available as a walk over option which is proving of interest to installers and builders. So far, our initial enquiries have been about the Aether and customers are either excited by its versatility or drawn away towards its more contemporary brother Helios.
“The Helios has all the same capabilities as Aether but with a raised, chamfered edge it adds a more contemporary feel to the rooflight. The fact it is available as a manual or electric opener using smooth chain operation, adds further to its appeal. Last but no means least is the pyramid option Olympus which offers all the grandeur you would expect from a pyramid rooflight. This is also available as fixed, manual or electric opening in a variety of sizes. Upgrades like weather packs, glazing options including Activ blue glass and triple glazing and integral lighting are also available.
“Our heritage in aluminium home improvement product design is reflected across the new range of rooflights – great quality that offers value for money so installers can tap into a market they may previously have steered clear of. Standard sizes ranging up to 3200mm x 1200mm are in stock and available on next day delivery across the UK. Prices start from as little as £595 and delivery is free of charge during our introductory period.
