SMART Visofold 1000 - Aluminium Bifold Doors

The SMART Visofold 1000 bifold doors offer impressive opening aperatures that can unite internal and external areas creating unique living and social areas.

The SMART Visofold 1000 bifold doors can be used in domestic applications as either an alternative to sliding doors.

Used commercially in a bar, cafe or restaurant, the SMART Visofold 1000 bifold door can create a glazed screen that allows in the maximum ingress of light in inclement weather, and will also easily glide to open up an entire wall in warmer weather.

All Visofold profiles feature a polyamide thermal break that enhances the thermal performance of the profile and improves overall U-values. EPDM high quality gaskets and weather brushes aid weather resistance, conforming to Building Regualations Document L 2010.

Security is assured by multi-point lock mechanisms on main opening sashes, and shoot-bolt locking on floating mullions. All Visofold doors have the option of either low-thresholds for unimpeded, easy access, or rebated thresholds that offer improved weather resistance.

The following profiles are the main profiles that we use as standard. More profile options are available and can be found in the Technical Manual.


Standard (Fully weathered) threshold.

15mm Ultra Low Threhold.

These thresholds can be combined with a choice of cill (see Threshold Options)


Choice of 85mm Stub cill, 150mm, 190mm or 225mm.

There is also a 17mm drip tray available.


Choice of either a squareline or ovolo sash (both slimline).


Squareline bead for 28mm units used as standard.


17mm add-on fitted as standard to the head of the frame where trickle vents are specified.
